any liability of any kind to any person whatsoever for any
action taken, suffered or permitted with respect to any such
securities in accordance with the authorization or instructions
given by any fiduciary or fiduciaries depositing or exchanging
the same or tendering the same for deposit or exchange, unless
such committee, depositary or ultimate recipient has actual
knowledge that any such fiduciary is committing a breach of
his trust in making such deposit or exchange, or has knowledge
of such facts that the action or conduct of such committee, de-
positary or ultimate recipient amounts to bad faith.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 12 and 13
of said Article 37A of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

12. UNIFORMITY OF INTERPRETATION. The Uniform Fidu-
ciaries Act (as described in Section 13 of this Article) shall
be so interpreted and construed as to effectuate its general
purpose to make uniform the law of those states which adopt it.

13. SHORT TITLE. This and the twelve preceding sections
of this Article may be cited as the Uniform Fiduciaries Act.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 146.

AN ACT to add twenty-seven new sections to Article 41 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Gov-
ernor—Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-
title "1. The Executive Department", said new sections to
be known as Sections 13A, 13B, 13C, 13D, 13E, 13F, 13G,
13H, 13-1, 13J, 13K, 13L, 13M, 13N, 13-O, 13P, 13Q, 13R,
13S, 13T, 13U, 13V, 13W, 13X, 13Y, 13Z, and 13ZZ, and to
follow immediately after Section 13 of said Article, to make
uniform the procedure on interstate extradition.

(Vetoed. )

Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
