the Clerk of the Court shall, upon receipt of such plat, deliver
the same to the supervisor of assessments.

200B. Whenever any person, firm or corporation actually
subdivides or develops or promotes any tract of land in Anne
Arundel County into lots of five acres or less, such person,
firm or corporation shall file two plats of the same with the
Clerk of the Circuit Court in the manner now provided by law,
and the Clerk of the Circuit Court shall deliver one of said
plats to the supervisor of assessments. Unrecorded plats of
three or more deeds of record or contracts of sale for lots as
described herein shall be prima facie evidence that the tract
or parcel of land is a subdivision and within the "provisions of
this Act.

200C. Any person, firm or corporation failing to comply
with the terms of Section 200B shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not less than five
dollars or more than fifty dollars; provided, however, that in
cases where in the opinion of the supervisor of assessments it
is impossible to comply with this Act this penalty shall not
apply.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date
of its passage.

CHAPTER 112.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 69
of Article 48A of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title "Insurance", sub-title "Agents and Brokers", pro-
viding for the licensing of brokers' solicitors and the pro-
rating of fees for such licenses when issued for a portion
of the license year.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 69 of Article 48A of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Insurance", sub-title "Agents
and Brokers", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, so as to read as follows:
