730. The State's Attorney for Frederick County, beginning
January first, A. D. 1939 shall receive as compensation for the
discharge of his official duties connected with the administra-
tion of said office, as well as such duties as may hereafter be
required of him by law, the sum of three thousand ($3, 000)
dollars per annum, payable by the County Commissioners for
Frederick County in equal monthly instalments and the salary
provided by this Act shall include the compensation of said
State's Attorney for services rendered before the Justices of
the Peace in said County, in all criminal cases, when in the
public interest he attends hearings or trials before said Jus-
tices and shall include all advice regarding criminal matters
which he shall give all Justices, or any one else, but his actual
expenses incurred in all criminal cases where it is necessary
for him to go outside of Frederick City to attend to shall be
paid him in addition to the salary aforesaid.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 98.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 95
of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Frederick County, " sub-title "County
Commissioners, " as said section was amended by Chapter
336 of the Acts of 1933, increasing the compensation of the
County Commissioners of Frederick County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 95 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " as said section was amended
by Chapter 336 of the Acts of 1933, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
95. The next election of County Commissioners of Freder-
ick County shall be held on Tuesday after the first Monday in
the month of November, in the year 1938, and on the same
day in every fourth year thereafter, and there shall then be
elected three County Commissioners, which number shall
thenceforth compose the Board of County Commissioners;
and said Commissioners so elected shall each receive for the
services performed by them an annual salary of one thousand
