Section 127 of said Article, sub-title "Compensation"; Sec-
tions 132 and 136 of said Article, sub-title "Miscellaneous

sections to said Article, to be known as Section 76A, sub-

title "Count of Ballots, " excepting precincts in which voting
machines shall be used from the operation of Sections 73,
74, 75, 76, 78, 79, 80 and 82 of said Article 33, it being the
general intent and purpose of this Act to adapt the sections
hereby amended and the sections mentioned in said new
Sections 76A and 82A to a system of permanent central
registration in Baltimore City and to the use of voting
machines in those precincts in which such voting machines
shall be used.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 6 and 7 of Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition and 1935 Supplement), title
"Elections, " sub-title "Supervisors of Elections"; Sections 8,
10, 12, 13 and 15 of said Article, sub-title "Judges and Clerks
of Election"; Sections 16, 17, 21 and 26 of said Article, sub-
title "Registration"; Section 58 of said Article, sub-title
"Nominations"; Sections 62, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 71, 72 and 77
of said Article, sub-title "Ballots and Ballot-Boxes"; Sections
83, 84 and 85 of said Article, sub-title "Election Returns";
Section 93 of said Article, sub-title "Canvassing Boards";
Sections 97 and 118 of said Article, sub-title "Offenses"; Sec-
tion 127 of said Article, sub-title "Compensation"; Sections
132 and 136 of said Article, sub-title "Miscellaneous Pro-
visions"; Section 154 of said Article, sub-title "Contested
Elections"; and Sections 197, 201 and 217 of said Article, sub-
title "Primary Elections, " be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments; and that two new sections be
and they are hereby added to said Article, said new sections
to be known as Section 76A, sub-title "Ballots and Ballot-
Boxes, " and Section 82A, sub-title "Count of Ballots, " and all
