Contingent upon the passage of revenue measures or an increase in the State
tax rate sufficient to provide funds in the General Treasury to meet the disburse-
ments hereinafter itemized, the following appropriations are hereby made from
the General Treasury:

1. For restoration of transfers of highway funds

   

to be allocated by the State Roads Commission

   

in like manner as said transfers to the Annuity

   

Bond Fund Account and General Treasury of

   

the State were calculated .....................

2. To the State Game Protection Fund, being a

   

restoration of the diversion of State Game

   

Funds into the General Treasury made in the

   

Budget of 1933 for the fiscal years 1934 and 1935

3. To the Pikesville Arsenal Commission for re-

   

pairs and restoration to the building to put it

   

in condition to be used as a museum and

   

memorial........................................

4. For the State's contribution to the "Eternal

   

Light and Peace Memorial" to be erected on the

   

battlefield of Gettysburg, to be spent under the

   

direction of the Governor .....................

5. To a Commission of not more than three to be

   

appointed by the Governor and which Commis-

   

sion is to be known as the Maryland Travel

   

Bureau Commission and whose salaries are to

   

be fixed by the Governor and not to exceed $3,000

   

for the Chairman and $2,500 for each of the

   

associate members, and to have an allowance of

   

not more than $3,000 for clerical assistance, the

   

balance of said appropriation to be used as ex-

   

penses in the gathering of data, the dissemina-

   

tion of the same throughout the nation for the

   

purpose of publicizing the State of Maryland,

   

its natural resources, its points of interest, and

   

its exceptional attractions as a tourist State ....

6. For the installation and rental of a State-wide

   

teletype system of communication between law

   

enforcement officers, to be operated under the

   

direction of the Maryland State Police..........
