appear in person or by counsel. At the request of either party
the Board shall issue subpoenas to witnesses to appear at
such hearings and such witnesses shall be sworn and exam-
ined. All cases shall be heard and decided immediately after
hearing. If a board constituted as above provided shall decide
that any such person is not entitled to have his or her name
on the registration list, his or her name shall be removed
therefrom and his or her registration forms cancelled and the
same change made in the precinct book as hereinbefore pro-
vided. If a board so constituted shall decide that the name
of any such person should appear on such registration list,
it shall be added thereto, and his or her registration forms
placed in the proper registration tiles and his or her name, to-
gether with other appropriate entries, shall be entered in the
precinct book. All such corrections and additions shall be
made on a copy of the precinct lists, which shall constitute
the poll lists, to be furnished to the respective precincts with
other election supplies on the day preceding the election, to be
used by the judges in receiving the signatures of voters and
in checking against the registration forms.

Any person who shall feel aggrieved by the action of any
of the above mentioned boards may, for any of the causes and
within the time mentioned in Section 27 of this Article, file a
petition verified by affidavit, in any court of Baltimore City,
setting forth the grounds of his application, and asking to
have the registry corrected. The proceedings of the Court
subsequent to the filing of such petition shall be governed by
the provisions of said Section 27 of this Article. Upon the
delivery to the Supervisors of Elections of a certified copy of
an order granting the relief prayed in the petition, said Super-
visors shall correct the original and duplicate cards and pre-
cinct book in accordance with such order and shall make the
appropriate disposition of sv\ch cards. Exceptions may be
taken and appeal allowed as provided in said Section 27, and
such appeal shall be taken, heard and decided as provided in
said section.

29-Q. Whenever the Board of Supervisors of Election
shall determine that any precinct is in need of a detailed
check for the purpose of correcting the registration lists of
such precinct, it shall deliver to one or more of its clerks
a copy or copies of the corrected precinct registration lists
of the last preceding election, together with the names and
places of residence of any voters, not oil the lists, who have
registered from the precinct since the precinct lists were
prepared. Such lists shall contain the names and places of
residence of all voters duly registered in such precinct and
shall be so certified by the Board. The Board shall, at the
