final settlement whether his term of office has expired or not;
and all claims (or erroneous, insolvent or uncollectible tax
bills for which he shall claim a credit shall be presented be-
fore or at the time specified for said final settlement, and in no
case shall the said Commissioners allow credit therefor after
the term specified for final settlement, and at the expiration
of the time for final settlement his bond or bonds shall be
liable for the unaccounted balance in his hands, and it shall be
the duty of the County Commissioners and they are hereby
required to enter suit upon the county bond of said treasurer
for all county taxes remaining uncollected.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 7.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 56-60, inclusive, of Article 8 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Cecil County", sub-title "Cecilton", and to enact in
lieu thereof six new sections, to be known as Sections 56-
60A, inclusive, amending the Charter of the town of Cecilton.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 56-60, inclusive, of Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cecil
County", sub-title "Cecilton", be and they are hereby repealed,
and that six new sections, to be known as Sections 56-60A,
inclusive, be and they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to
read as follows:

56. Said Commissioners shall consist of five persons—a
President and four Commissioners—who shall be citizens of the
United States, at least twenty-five years of age, and bona fide
residents of said town for at least two years next preceding
the date of their election; and all the male inhabitants of said
town, citizens of the United States, above twenty-one years of
age, who shall have bona fide resided in the town one year
next preceding the election at which they shall offer to vote,
shall be entitled to vote for said President and Commissioners.

57. On the first Monday in May, in the year 1937, (and on
the same date biennially thereafter), said voters shall elect a
President of said Board, who shall serve for the two years
thence ensuing, or until his successor is duly elected and quali-
