said Clerk before any license is issued, for distribution as
hereinafter provided.
(a-1) ALLEGANY COUNTY. In Allegany County the annual
fee for such a license shall be one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).
(b) ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. In Anne Arundel County such
licenses shall be of two types, as follows:
(1) Class LT, on sale generally, in taverns open six days
weekly, with neither music nor dancing nor other similar
forms of entertainment, for which the annual license fee shall
be six hundred dollars ($600.00).
(2) Class LTM, on sale generally, in taverns open seven
days weekly, with music but with neither dancing nor
other similar entertainment, for which the annual license
fee shall be eight hundred-dollars ($800.00).
(e) CALVERT COUNTY. In Calvert County such licenses may
be issued only for premises within the towns of North Beach
and Chesapeake Beach, and the annual fee for each such license
shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00).
(c-1) CHARLES COUNTY. In Charles County the fee for such
a license for on and off sale of all alcoholic beverages shall be
three hundred dollars ($300.00), and the fee for such a license
authorizing off sale for liquor and on and off sale for beer and
wine shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00).
(d) HOWARD COUNTY. In Howard County the annual fee for
each such license shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00).
(d-1) ST. MARY'S COUNTY. In St. Mary's County the annual
fee for such a license shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).
(e) APPLICABILITY. Such licenses shall be issued only in
Baltimore City, Allegany, Anne Arundel and Baltimore coun-
ties, the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach in
Calvert County, and in Charles, Howard, St. Mary's and
Washington Counties.-
20. BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSE, CLASS E
(ON SALE) —STEAMBOATS. A Class E beer, wine and
liquor license shall be issued by the Comptroller, subject to the
conditions and restrictions hereinafter set forth, and shall
authorize the owner or operator of any steamboat, steamship,
ferry boat or other vessel, used for the transportation of
passengers, from ports in Maryland to coastal ports in other
states or foreign ports, to sell all alcoholic beverages for con-
sumption thereon. One such license shall be issued for each
