AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 52
of Article 65 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Militia", eliminating the provision exempting
honorary members of the Organized Militia from jury ser-
vice and to repeal Section 711 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore City and Baltimore City
Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title
"Jurors".
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 52 of Article 65 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Militia", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
52. Every member of the Organized Militia shall be exempt
from jury duty, provided he shall present certificate of his
