section was amended by Chapter 61 of the Acts of 1945,
title "Justice of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates'
"System", relating to the salaries of the Trial Magistrates
sitting at Thurmont and Brunswick.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-section (Frederick County) of Section 100 of
Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supple-
ment), as said section was amended by Chapter 61 of the
Acts of 1945, title "Justice of the Peace", sub-title "Trial
Magistrates' System", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
100.
(Frederick County.) There shall be five Trial Magistrates,
two of whom shall sit at Frederick and receive each an an-
nual salary of $2,400.00, one of whom shall sit at Emmitsburg
and receive an annual salary of $600.00 and one of whom
shall sit at Thurmont and receive an annual salary of $600.00
and one of whom shall sit at Brunswick and receive an an-
nual salary of $1,200.00. Beginning with the term of office
commencing the first Monday of May, 1949, and thereafter,
the Trial Magistrate sitting at Thurmont shall receive an
annual salary of $900.00, and the Trial Magistrate sitting at
Brunswick shall receive an annual salary of $1,320.00.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1. 1947.

CHAPTER 478.
(House Bill 877)
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and Aldermen
of Frederick to borrow upon the faith and credit of said
City a sum not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) and to issue coupon serial bonds therefor,
the proceeds to be used for the acquisition of sites for and
construction and equipping of an airport in Frederick Coun-
ty, and providing for the levying of taxes necessary for the
payment of such bonds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick, a municipal
