thereon on separate lines, the following: "For $30,000.00 bond
issue for fire house and City Hall..........", and "Against

$30,000.00 bond issue for fire house and City Hall..........",

and after each such line there shall be a place or box in which
the voters may indicate their respective preferences. If a
majority of the votes properly cast by duly qualified voters
at such referendum shall be for the issuance of bonds, then
the Town may proceed forthwith to exercise the authority
hereby conferred, but if a majority of said votes so cast shall
be against said bond issue, then the authority hereby con-
ferred shall be void and of no effect and shall not be exercised
by the Town; provided, however, that in the event of un-
favorable action by the voters on such referendum, the Town
may, if it so elects, resubmit said question to one additional
referendum at the next regular municipal election in Hur-
lock, under the same terms and conditions as are prescribed
for such special election by this Act.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 418.
(House Bill 627)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Montgomery County
Code (1939 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition, title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Circuit Court", said new section to be
known as Section 128B and to follow immediately after
Section 128A of said Article, authorizing the County Com-
missioners for Montgomery County to purchase suitable
judicial robes for the members of the Circuit Court.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to the
Montgomery County Code (1939 Edition), being Article 16
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Circuit Court",
said new section to be known as Section 128B, to follow im-
mediately after Section 128A of said Article, and to read
as follows:

128B. The Board of County Commissioners for Mont-
gomery County is hereby authorized and empowered to pur-
