bot, Washington and Worcester Counties shall have civil juris-
diction in all cases hereinbefore mentioned in this section,
instituted after June 1, 1941, and involving amounts not
exceeding Two Hundred Dollars.

Trial Magistrates of Allegany, Montgomery and Wicomico
Counties shall have civil jurisdiction in all cases hereinbefore
mentioned in this section, instituted after June 1, 1943, and
of Anne Arundel, Carroll and Harford Counties shall have
jurisdiction in such cases instituted after June 1, 1945, and
involving amounts not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars.

Trial Magistrates of Prince George's County shall have
civil jurisdiction in all cases hereinbefore mentioned in this
section, instituted after June 1, 1945, and involving amounts
not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars.

Provided, that nothing herein contained shall be held or
construed to affect suits pending on June 1, 1945, nor judg-
ments then existing.

In addition to the jurisdiction hereinbefore granted in this
section, Trial Magistrates in Baltimore County shall, after
June 1, 1947, have concurrent jurisdiction with the Circuit
Court of Baltimore County in all cases hereinbefore mentioned
in this section, instituted after June 1, 1947, and involving
amounts not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars nor less than
One Hundred Dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 252.
(House Bill 316)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
4 of Chapter 169 of the Acts of 1933, as said section was
amended by Chapter 185 of the Acts of 1943, relating to
the number, appointment and dismissal of Chauffeurs of
Volunteer Fire Companies in Anne Arundel County, and
of relief Chauffeurs, and providing for the levy of a special
tax to pay the salaries of Chauffeurs and Relief Chauffeurs,
fixing the salaries of same, providing for their vacation and
enabling the County Commissioners to regulate the duties,
of Chauffeurs.
