tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), and any amendments
thereto. The power of condemnation herein conferred shall
not be extended to include any property dedicated as a
cemetery.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws and
parts of laws, general or local, including Section 15 of Article
33A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition),
title "Eminent Domain", inconsistent with the provisions
of this Act, be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths
of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
104A of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-
title "Circuit Court", as said section was added to said
Article by Chapter 274 of the Acts of 1939, relating to the
title and compensation of the Probation Officer of said
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 104A of Article 3 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore
County", sub-title ''Circuit Court", as said section was added
to said Article by Chapter 274 of the Acts of 1939, be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
104A. The Circuit Court for Baltimore County is hereby
authorized and empowered to designate, appoint and employ
some competent and suitable male person to act as parole
officer for Baltimore County, who shall be known as Director
