tion of each county qualified to participate in this Incentive
Fund and the City of Baltimore if it is qualified to partici-
pate in this Incentive Fund. Thereupon the Comptroller
shall draw his warrant on the Treasurer of the State of
Maryland for the respective amounts due the City of Balti-
more and due the Boards of Education of each county en-
titled to receive the same, and the Treasurer of the State of
Maryland, upon receipt of said warrants shall immediately
pay the amount due to the City of Baltimore and the respec-
tive Boards of Education.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 191.
(House Bill 26)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
27A of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1943 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Ad-
ministration—Registration—Titling", as amended by Chap-
ters 90 and 131 of the Acts of 1945, and to repeal Section
154A of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor Vehicles",
as said section was amended by Chapter 566 of the Acts of
1945, clarifying the provisions relating to the issuance of
metal plates or markers by the County Treasurers of certain
Counties.

WHEREAS, Section 27A of Article 66 1/2 of the Code was
amended by Chapters 90 and 131 of the Acts of 1945, relating
to the issuance of metal plates or markers by County Treas-
urers in certain Counties; and

WHEREAS, Section 154A of Article 56 of the Code, as enacted
by Chapter 990 of the Acts of 1943, relating to the same sub-
ject, was amended by Chapter 566 of the Acts of 1945; and

WHEREAS, each of these Acts made certain particular changes
as applicable to the Counties involved; and

WHEREAS, it seems desirable; that Section 27A should be
amended to make it conform to the purposes of said several
Acts; therefore
