Administrative Departments" sub-title "Superintendent of
Buildings", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
94. The Governor shall appoint a Superintendent of Build-
ings and such other employees, at such compensation, as shall
be provided for in the State Budget, for the purpose of main-
taining and guarding the public buildings and grounds of
the State in the City of Annapolis.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to. repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
1, 2 and 5 of Article 80 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition), title "Reporter and Codifier—State",
changing the title to "Reporter—State", and eliminating
certain obsolete provisions and relating to the compensa-
tion of the State Reporter.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 1, 2 and 5 of Article 80 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Reporter and Codi-
fier—State" be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, and the title changed to "Reporter—
State", to read as follows:
REPORTER—STATE
1. The State Reporter shall be appointed by the Judges of
the Court of Appeals and shall hold his office for the term of
four years unless sooner removed by said judges, and shall be
styled "The State Reporter", and shall be re-eligible from time
to time.
2. The State Reporter shall receive such salary as may be
provided in the State Budget.
5. Said reporter shall prepare for publication reports of
all the cases argued and determined in the Court of Appeals
of this State designated by said court to be reported within
