OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN B. PUNK, SECRETARY OF STATE, OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 194
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended
by Ch. 934 of 1945, DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the Referendum
Election held at the Village of Bowling Green in this State
on May 5,1947, an Act known as Chapter 852 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1947, was submitted to the voters of the
Village of Bowling Green for their adoption or rejection,
under the provisions of the Constitution of the State, said
Act being:
An Act to create a special tax area or district to be
known as the Village of Bowling Green, in Allegany
County, to provide for the government thereof and to
provide for the submission of this question to the
qualified voters of said Village for approval or rejec-
tion.
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 163 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 852 of the Acts of 1947
and 101 votes were cast against the adoption thereof, the said
Act is therefore ratified.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
scribed my name and affixed hereto my
