CHAPTER 925.
(House Bill 889)

AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Hitchins Brothers Com-
pany of Frostburg, Maryland, a body corporate duly incor-
porated under the general laws of Maryland, February 5,
1891, and recorded in Liber T. L. No. 1, of certificates of
incorporation, Folio 196, one of the corporation books of
Allegany County, as amended by Chapter 627, of the Acts
of 1894, of the General Assembly of Maryland, providing
for election of director by a minority stockholder.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Charter of Hitchins Brothers Company of
Frostburg, Maryland, a body corporate, duly incorporated
under the General Laws of Maryland, on February 5, 1891,
and recorded in Liber T. L. No. 1, Folio 196, of the Certificates
of Incorporation, among the Land Records of Allegany
County, and as amended by Chapter 627 of the Acts of 1894
of the General Assembly of Maryland, be and it is hereby
amended to read as follows:

Irrespective of the number of Directors now authorized for
said corporation, any bona fide stockholder of said corpora-
tion owning thirty-three and a third per cent. (33-1/3%) or
more of the outstanding voting stock thereof, shall be entitled
to election to said Board and shall be elected by the stock-
holders thereof as a member of the Board of Directors.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any provisions of
the Charter of Hitchins Brothers Company of Frostburg,
Maryland, or amendment thereto, inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this Act, shall be and the same are hereby repealed
to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.
