(c) Any violation of the provisions of this sub-title shall
be deemed a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall
be subject to a fine of not more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00),
and each day that said violation shall continue shall be
deemed a separate violation provided, however, that the pro-
visions of this section shall not apply to the City of Balti-
more.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 738)

AN ACT to repeal Section 260 of Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title
"Gasoline Tax", said section relating to reciprocal agree-
ments with the District of Columbia as to certain licenses.

WHEREAS, this section has been superseded by the later laws
relating to motor vehicles and is therefore no longer neces-
sary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 260 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Gaso-
line Tax", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.
