1943; Sections 1030, 1031 and 1032 of the Montgomery
County Code (1939 Edition); Sections 1272-1274 of the
Prince George's County Code (1943 Edition); Sections
205 (a) and (b) of Article 19 of said Code, as amended
by Chapter 628 of 1943; Section 353 of Article 20 of said
Code, as amended by Chapter 412 of 1943; Section 508A
of Article 21 of said Code, as amended by Chapter 207
of 1945; Sections 757 and 757A of Article 22 of said
Code, as amended by Chapter 275 of 1935; Section 390
of Article 23 of said Code, as amended by Chapter 243 of
1939; Section 294 of Article 24 of said Code, as amended
by Chapter 967 of 1945 and Section 1035 of Article 4 of
the Code of Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws, either public general or public local, inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act, be and they are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote,
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 906.
(House Bill 69)
AN ACT to add a new sub-title and eleven new sections to
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Health", said new sub-title to read "Physical
Therapy", and said new sections to be known as Sections
531 to 541, inclusive, and to follow immediately after Section
530 of said Article defining Physical Therapy and qualifying
those permitted to use the title "Physical Therapist" its
signs or symbols, creating a Board of Physical Therapy Ex-
aminers, providing for the licensing of qualified Physical
Therapists in this State, and providing penalties for the un-
authorized practice of Physical Therapy and for the illegal
use of the title "Physical Therapist".
