CHAPTER 902.
(Senate Bill 422)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 7 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Carroll
County", to be under a new sub-title "Schools", said
new section to be known as Section 339 and to follow
immediately after Section 338 of said Article, relating
to disposition of funds received by the County from
the conduct of racing.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Carroll County", to be under a new sub-title "Schools",
said new section to be known as Section 339, to follow
immediately after Section 338 and to read as follows:
339. The County Commissioners of Carroll County
are authorized and directed to place all funds received
by said county from the distribution of revenues derived
from the conduct of racing in a special fund and to
expend such funds, under the direction and supervision
of the County Board of Education, for the construction,
maintenance and improvement of public schools in said
county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 903.
(Senate Bill 424)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
486 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition),
title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Salaries of Clerks of
Courts", as said Section was amended by Chapter 634
of the Acts of 1945, increasing the compensation of the
Trust Clerk of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City.
SECTION 1. Beitenacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
