Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title
"Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates Sys-
tem", providing that one of the four trial magistrates
sitting in Cecil County shall sit at Perryville.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-section (Cecil County.) of Section 100 of
Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Sup-
plement) , title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magis-
trates System", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

100.

(Cecil County.) There shall be four trial magistrates, one
of whom shall sit at Elkton and shall receive an annual
salary of $1,000.00, one of whom shall sit at Chesapeake
City and shall receive an annual salary of $500.00, one of
whom shall sit at Perryville and shall ?eceive an annual
salary of $500.00, and one of whom shall sit at Rising
Sun and shall receive an annual salary of $500.00.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 882.
(House Bill 875)

AN ACT to authorize the Town Commissioners of La Plata,
Charles County, to borrow upon the faith and credit of said
town One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) for the
purpose of water and sewer system improvements, to issue
its bonds and/or notes therefor and to levy municipal taxes
to pay the principal and interest of said bonds and/or
notes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Town Commissioners of La Plata be and they
they are hereby authorized and empowered to borrow at such
time or times as they may decide, upon the faith and credit
of said town, a sum or sums of money not to exceed One Hun-
dred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) at a rate of interest not to
exceed three and one-half per cent. (3 1/2%) per annum, for
the purpose of extending, improving, constructing and repair-
