200. The police limits of Frederick City shall be for a
distance of one mile from the boundaries of said City; and all
ordinances heretofore passed by the Mayor and Aldermen of
Frederick to preserve the peace, order and quiet of Frederick
or relating to planning and zoning or that may hereafter be
passed, shall apply to said police limits and to all persons
therein; and the trial magistrates in said City shall have power
to apprehend and try any and all persons violating any of
the provisions of said ordinances within said police limits,
and to enforce the fines, penalties and punishments therein
prescribed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
41A of Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery County", sub-
title "Bethesda", authorizing the County Commissioners to
levy increased tax for the construction, maintenance and
operation of a library known as the Bethesda Public Library
Association, Inc., or its legal successor, in the Seventh
Election District and a part of the Fourth Election District
of Montgomery County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 41A of Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Bethesda", be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as
follows:
41 A. For the purpose of providing funds with which to
establish, maintain and operate a public library within the
area in Bethesda District in said Montgomery County,
now constituting the Bethesda Fire Department area as de-
fined in Section 41, the County Commissioners of said Mont-
gomery County be and they are hereby authorized and em-
powered to levy annually against all of the assessable property
within said area a tax sufficient, but not in any event more
