CHAPTER 773.
(House Bill 499)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Health", sub-title
"Water, Ice and Sewerage", said new section to be known as
Section 392A and to follow immediately after Section 392
of said Article, relating to the appointment of alternates
to the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Health", sub-title "Water, Ice and Sewerage", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 392A and to follow immediately
after Section 392 of said Article, and to read as follows:
392A. The Governor of the State shall appoint an alternate
member for each of the three members of the Commission for
the State of Maryland created by Section 392 of this Article;
and each such alternate shall have power to act in the absence
of the person for whom he is alternate. The Governor shall
appoint the first alternates hereunder on or before July 1st,
1947, the terms of each alternate to run concurrently with
the term of the member for whom he is an alternate.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 774.
(House Bill 506)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
63 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Revoca-
tion and Suspension of Licenses", as amended by Chapters
438 and 686 of the Acts of 1941 and Chapter 714 of the
Acts of 1943, to provide that appeals from the Board of
License Commissioners of Prince George's County shall be
made to the Circuit Court instead of to the State License
Bureau.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 63 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code
