amounts as provided for in said schedule; but no such teacher
or principal whose certificate is rated by the County Superin-
tendent of Schools of Allegany County as second class, as pro-
vided in Section 88 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, shall receive any salary increment based on ex-
perience. No teacher, without degree, holding a regular first
class or higher certificate shall receive a salary of less than
|2,200.00 per school year for the first year of service; $2,200.00
per school year for the second year of service; $2,300.00 per
school year for the third year of service; $2,400.00 per school
year for the fourth year of service; $2,500.00 per school year
for the fifth year of service; $2,600.00 per school year for the
sixth year of service; $2,700.00 per school year for the sev-
enth year of service; $2,800.00 per school year for the eighth
year of service; $2,900.00 per school year for the ninth year
of service; $3,000.00 per school year for the tenth year of
service; $3,100.00 per school year for the eleventh year of
service; $3,200.00 per school year for the twelfth year of serv-
ice; $3,300.00 per school year for the thirteenth year of serv-
ice; $3,400.00 per school year for the fourteenth year of serv-
ice ; $3,500.00 per school year for the fifteenth year of service;
—$3,600.00 per school year for the sixteenth year of service and
$3,700.00 per school year for the seventeenth year and each
succeeding year of service thereafter,

having charge of a two-teacher elementary school shall re-
