SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 122.
(House Bill 40)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 99 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Birds, Game
and Inland Water Fish", sub-title "Field Trials", said new
section to be known as Section 34A and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 34 of said Article, providing for special
dog training areas.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement),
title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-title "Field
Trials", said new section to be known as Section 34A, to
follow immediately after Section 34 of said Article, and to
read as follows:
34A. (Special Dog Training Area.) Upon application of any
club or organization having twenty or more members who
are citizens of this S'tate, or upon the application of twenty
or more citizens of this State and the payment of an annual
registration fee of ten dollars ($ 10.00), the Commission may is-
sue a permit authorizing the establishment and maintenance
by such club, organization or citizen on land owned by them,
or over which they have legal control, of a special dog train-
ing area wherein and whereon dogs may be trained at any
time during the entire year. No such dog training area
shall be of less than one hundred acres, nor of more than
two hundred fifty acres, nor shall permits be issued for more
than five special dog training areas in any one county.
The permittees shall from time to time during each year
stock twenty-five pieces of game per one hundred acres at
their own expense under the supervision of the Commission
and unless the Commission shall determine that the area
is already adequately stocked. The permittees may at any
time during the entire year train their own dogs or the dogs
of other persons on such area or permit others so to do
under such conditions as shall be mutually agreed upon.
Neither the permittees nor any other person shall at any time
