said Commissioners and the State Roads Commission, be
determined to be available for sale and necessary for the
construction and maintenance of roads in said county.
Such equipment shall be purchased put of the gen-
eral funds of said county at a fair and equitable
price with due regard to the age and condition of the same.
In the event that the said County Commissioners and the
said Roads Commission are unable to agree upon the pur-
chase price of said equipment, they are hereby authorized
and empowered, each to select an arbitrator and the two arbi-
trators so named shall select a third arbitrator who, or a
majority of them, shall fix the aforesaid price. The deci-
sion of said arbitrators or a majority of them shall be
final and binding on the said County Commissioners and
the said State Roads Commission with respect to the pur-
chase price of said equipment.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 248—251 of Article 9 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Charles County", sub-title "State's Attorney",
relating to the compensation of the State's Attorney of
Charles County.
WHEREAS, Chapter 791 of the Acts of 1945 prescribes the
salaries for the State's Attorneys of the several Counties,
thereby making the above sections unnecessary; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
That Sections 248—251 of Article 9 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Charles
County", sub-title "State's Attorney", be and they are
hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.
