8B and to follow immediately after Section 8A of said
Article, requiring the State Roads Commission to remove
from all State highways the carcasses of certain animals
found or reported thereon.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
89B of the Annotated Code of Maryanld (1943 Supple-
ment), title "State Roads," said new section to be known
as Section 8B, to follow immediately after Section 8A of
said Article, and to read as follows:
8B. Said Commission shall, attendant upon its duty to
keep all State highways reasonably clear of brush and main-
tain the same in good condition, remove the carcasses of any
animals found or reported on such State highways, the
presence of which will impede traffic or substantially
endanger the safety of the travelling public, and it shall
be the duty of said commission to comply with the provi-
sions of this section as soon as the presence of said carcass
is brought to its attention.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
4 of Article 62 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943
Supplement), title "Marriages", relating to the return-
ing of the certificate of marriage to the clerk of the court
issuing the same upon the death or resignation of the
minister or other official performing the marriage cere-
mony.
SECTIONl. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 4 of Article 62 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Marriages", be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
4. The following persons are authorized to solemnize
marriages in this State; any minister of the Gospel or
