as said section was amended by Chapter 1060 of the Acts
of 1945, clarifying the provisions of said section as to the
terms of the members of the Board of Managers of the
several training schools.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 18 of Article 88A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "State Department of
Public Welfare", sub-title "Training Schools for Delinquent
Children", as said section was amended by Chapter 1060
of the Acts of 1945, be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:
18. From and after June 1, 1947, the Boards of Mana-
gers of said institutions shall continue in office until the
expiration of their respective terms. Thereafter, the Gov-
ernor shall biennially appoint three members for staggered
terms of six years so arranged that the terms of three
members shall expire on June 1st of each second year. The
Boards shall consist of nine members, and members shall be
eligible for reappointment. Any member of any Board who
shall fail to attend meetings for a period of one year shall
be considered to have resigned, and the President of the
Board of Managers to which such member was appointed shall
forward or cause to be forwarded to the Governor the name of
such member, with the statement of such non-attendance, and
the Governor shall thereupon appoint his successor for the
remainder of the term.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 29-35, inclusive, of Article 16
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Chancery", sub-title "Declaratory Decrees", said sec-
tions relating to declaratory decrees in certain cases.
WHEREAS, Chapter 724 of the Acts of 1945, revising the
Uniform Declaratory Judgments Act, is more comprehen-
