forms to be supplied by said Bureau, a report
showing the number of marriage licenses applied
for, issued, and returned and unreturned as marriage
reports, and such other information concerning marriage
licenses and divorces as said Bureau may require.
Said report shall be made for the calendar month and
shall be forwarded to the Bureau on or before the fifteenth
day of the month next succeeding.
For transmitting said reports and copies of said decrees
in accordance with the provisions of this section the
Clerks of Court shall receive no compensation.
Any clerk who shall fail to comply with the provisions
of this section shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine
of ten ($10) dollars for each offense.
Such reports, after proper indexing and tabulating, and
after such time as may be fixed by the State Registrar of
Vital Statistics, may be reproduced by any method ap-
proved by State Registrar of Vital Statistics as being
permanent and satisfactory, after which such reports
may be destroyed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 632.
(Senate Bill 265)
AN ACT to authorize the Board of County Commissioners
of Washington County to borrow upon the faith and
credit of said County to the amount of One Million Five
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) and to issue
and sell coupon bonds or certificates of indebtedness
therefor, the proceeds thereof to be used for the con-
struction, alteration, reconditioning, furnishing and
equipping of school buildings in said Washington County
and providing additions thereto, and the purchase of
lands deemed necessary and for payments to be ex-
pended on the Washington Street Junior High School
in Hagerstown, Maryland, and to provide for the pay-
ment of interest on said bonds or certificates of indebted-
ness and of the principal thereof by the levy of taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
