quantity of apples sold by him during any period, or to
falsify the records of the apples sold by him, and upon
conviction thereof such grower shall be subject to a fine
not exceeding $500.00.
77. (Enforcement). It shall be the duty of all State
and county law enforcement officers to assist in the en-
forcement of this sub-title.
78. (Severability). If any clause, sentence or section
of this sub-title shall for any reason be adjudged by a court
of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such adjudication
shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder there-
of, but shall be confined in its operation to the clause,
sentence or section of this sub-title directly involved in the
controversy in which such adjudication shall have taken
place.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
34 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-
title "Delmar", relating to the corporate and taxable
limits Of the Town and Delmar and providing for the
exemption of certain property from assessment and
taxation by the Commissioners of Delmar.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 34 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico Coun-
ty", sub-title "Delmar", be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
34. The taxable and corporate bounds and limits of
the said Town of Delmar shall be as follows: Beginning
for the same at the Wicomico and Sussex County post on
the Delaware and Maryland Division Line, located just
west of the New York, Philadelphia and Norfolk Railroad,
