CHAPTER 615.
(Senate Bill 184)

AN ACT to repeal Section 476 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City
Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title
"Clerks of the Law Courts of Baltimore City", said
section relating to license blanks.

WHEREAS, Sections 75-78, inclusive, of Article 17 of the
State Code, relating to the same subject matter are the ones
actually followed by the Clerk of the Court of Common
Pleas of Baltimore City, thereby rendering Section 476
unnecessary; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 476 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Clerks of the
Law Courts of Baltimore City", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

Approved April 25, 1947.

CHAPTER 616.
(Senate Bill 193)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 12 (j) of Article 72 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Oysters and Clams",
as said section was enacted by Chapter 929 of the Acts
of 1945, revising said Article 72, relating to the power
of the Court to decide as to whether a particular area
is or is not a natural oyster bar.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 12 (j) of Article 72 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Oysters and Clams",
as said section was enacted by Chapter 929 of the Acts
of 1945, revising said Article 72, be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as fol-
lows:

(j) PROTEST AGAINST LEASE. Any three or
more residents of this State may, within the period of
thirty days after the last insertion of said advertisement,
