CHAPTER 577.
(Senate Bill 390)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 50 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's Coun-
ty," sub-title "Centreville," relating to the compensa-
tion and terms of the Town Commissioners.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 50 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County," sub-title "Centreville," be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as fol-
lows:
50. Each Commissioner who shall be elected in the
election held on the first Monday of April in the year nine-
teen hundred and forty-eight (1948) and in each election
held thereafter shall receive annually as compensation for
his services the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars,
and no commissioner shall be elected or hold office as such
commissioner consecutively for more than two (2) three
(3) year terms
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Frederick County to borrow at one time, or
from time to time, upon the faith and credit of said
County a sum not to exceed a total of Five Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($500,000.) by the issuance and sale
of bonds or notes therefor; providing generally for the
time, terms and manner of said bond issue; that the
proceeds thereof be used exclusively for the erection and
equipment of new public school buildings, the purchase
of any land necessary therefor, and additions to exist-
ing public school buildings in said County; providing
