directly or indirectly offer, pay or give any fee, emolument,
remuneration, reward, present, commission, gratuity, or
sample of any alcoholic beverages or make any gift of any
value whatever to any member of said Liquor Control Board
for Montgomery County or any employee of said Board, or to
any member of the Board of County Commissioners of Mont-
ornery County or any employee of said Board.
Nothing in this sub-section shall be construed to prevent
any manufacturer, brewer, wholesaler or dealer in alcoholic
beverages now selling or in the future attempting to sell
or selling alcoholic beverages to the Liquor Control Board,
from giving and delivering samples of alcoholic beverages to
said Board; provided, however, that any person, firm or cor-
poration so delivering samples of alcoholic beverages to said
Board shall obtain an official receipt therefor, signed by the
General Manager of the Liquor Control Board, stating in
detail the amount and description of said sample, which
samples, when so received, shall be inventoried and sold as are
other beverages purchased by said Board.
Any person, firm, association, corporation or licensee
violating the provisions of this sub-section shall, upon con-
viction, be fined not more than five thousand dollars (f 5,000.00)
or imprisoned not more than twelve (12) years, or both.
150. MISCELLANEOUS, (a) KENT COUNTY. The At-
torney for the County Commissioners for Kent County shall
also be the Attorney for the Liquor Control Board for Kent
County and shall receive as compensation for his services
the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per
annum in addition to the salary that he receives as Attorney
for the County Commissioners for Kent County.
(b) MONTGOMERY COUNTY. The Liquor Control Board for
Montgomery County shall be immune from all suits for dam-
ages and shall be subject to suit only for the enforcement of
contracts made by it.
151. APPLICABILITY. This sub-title shall apply to Har-
ford, Montgomery, Kent, Queen Anne's, Somerset, Wicomico,
and Worcester counties.

152. APPEALS' TO COURTS, (a) The decision of the
Board of License Commissioners for Baltimore City and the
respective Counties and of the State License Bureau in every
County not having a local board (except in and St. Mary's
Counties; and in Caroline County, where no appeal is
provided; and in the Counties of Wicomico, Prince George's
