Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland :

I herewith transmit to you a list of the Executive appoint-
ments made for Talbot County during the recess of the Leg-
islature.

JOHN LEE CARROLL

June 2, 1876.—Edward Willey, Justice of the Peace for 2d
district vice self, who failed to qualify.

On motion by Mr.. Ford,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments, agreeably to the nominations of the 4th instant.

Washington, D. C., vice T. W. Boswell,

June 28, 1876.—James Taylor, Commissioner of Deeds at
New York City, vice M. F. Merchant, who
failed to quality.

Aug. 9, 1876.—Chs. W. Klebisch, Commissioner of Deeds
at New York City, vice J. W. Collis, who
failed to qualify.

Aug. 30, 1876.—John Eadie, Commissioner of Deeds at New
York City, vice Horace Andrew, who failed
to qualify.

Sep. 13, 1876.—Howard Douglass, Commissioner of Deeds
at Cincinnati, Ohio, vice E. M. Garrett,

who failed to qualify.

Oct. 4, 1876.—Jay E. Russell, Commissioner of Deeds at
San Francisco, Cal., vice Jno. H. B. Wil-
kins, who failed to qualify.
