Mar. 6, 1877.—Jno. F. Cox, Officer of Registration for 6th
district vice Jas. T. King, removed from
district.

July 16,1877.—Jas. A. Lowndes, Justice of the Peace for
1st district vice O. A. Evans, removed
from county.

On motion by Mr. Ford,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments, agreeably to the nominations of the 4th inst,

Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I herewith transmit to you a list of the Executive appoint-
ments made for Somerset county during the recess of the
Legislature.

JOHN LEE CARROLL.

Aug. 24,1876.—Noah Webster, Justice of Peace for 9th

district vice Theodore James, who failed

to qualify.
Jan. 9, 1877.—R. T. Hustings, Justice of the Peace for 3d

district vice Smith Lankford, deceased.
Feb. 1, 1877.—Wm. Coulbourn of Isaac, Sheriff vice self,

failing to bond according to law.

Mar. 6, 1877-—Alban K. Robinson, Justice of the Peace for

1st district vice Thos. Brinkly. who failed

to qualify.
Oct. 17,1877.—James A. Nicholson, Justice of the Peace for

9th district vice Noah Webster, who failed

to qualify.

On motion by Mr. Dennis,
