Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact Section
66, of Article 51, of the Code of Public General Laws of the
State of Maryland, relating to judgments of Justices of the
Peace.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Lancaster, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act in relation to the road running
to Brent's Landing, on Port Tobacco Creek, from the point
of its intersection with the public road, to Cedar Point Neck,
in Charles County.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Hepbron, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
Senate Bill entitled an Act to authorize Robert S. Emory,
to fill up a dock at Chestertown.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Hill, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 54, of Article
16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Prince
George's County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " re-
lating to the annual salary of the Clerk to the County Com-
missioners and re-enact the same with amendments,

With the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 4, after the word "re-enacted" insert the
words "so as to read. "

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commissioners
of the Town of Salisbury, in Wicomico County, to appro-
priate the sum of five hundred dollars out of the levy of 1878,
to defray the expense of purchasing a fire engine,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact Section
29, of Chapter 151, of the Acts of 1872, entitled an Act to
incorporate the Town of Crisfield, in Somerset County,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
