Mr. Dennis from a Select Committee, reported unfavorably

House bill entitled an Act to add additional sub-sections to
Article 19, of Public Local Laws, title "Licenses," sub-title
"Retailers," and to repeal all laws inconsistent with said
sub-sections.

Which was adopted.

Said bill wag then returned to the House of Delegates

The Clerk of the House of Delegates, appeared and deliv-
ered, the following bills.

House bill to authorize the Comptroller, to settle the
claim, of Francis P. Stevens, Assignee, for furniture for the
State Normal School and the claim of Frank E. Davis, for
work at said School,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

On motion by Mr. McLane,

The rules were suspended, so as to give as econd reading
