Senate bill to authorize the County Commisioners of Som-
erset County to build a Bridge over the Annamessex River.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill to amend Section 58, of Article 16, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Chancery," sub-title
"Jurisdiction."

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the building of a
School House for colored children in the Fourth District,
and one in the First District of Anne Arundel County.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill to enable Wm. A. Noble, of Dorchester Coun-
ty, and S. Frank Pool, of Caroline County, to enclose a cer-
tain portion of the public road dividing Dorchester and Car-
oline Counties.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill to subscribe for a work entitled "Testamentary
Law," prepared by Edward Otis Hinkley.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill to amend the Act of the present General As-
sembly, regulating the working and proper ventilation of
coal mines in Allegany and Garret Counties.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senaie bill to authorize the Comptroller, in settling the
amount due the State by the Cumberland and Pennsylvania
Railroad Company, for the tax upon its gross receipts, to
deduct therefrom tax erroneously paid by the Consolida-
tion Coal Company, upon the property of the said Railroad
Company, included by mistake in the valuation of the stock
of the Consolidation Coal Company, &c.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed
amendments."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Add to Section 1 "remitting any penalty whatever because
of the non-payment of said State taxes: Provided, said
Cumberland and Pennsylvania Rail Road Company shall
promptly pay said State taxes after the ajustment thereof in
the manner aforesaid.
