Garey, Stump—11.
Humphreys,

Mr. Lee, from the Committee on Corporations, reported
unfavorably,

House bill to amend Chapter 394, of the Act of 1874, re-
lating to the Inspection of Tobacco,

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Lee, from the Committee on Printing, submitted the
following

REPORT:

To the Honorable,

The Senate and House of Delegates :

The Joint Committee on Printing respectfully submit the
following as their final report to both Houses of the Legis-
lature:

with George Colton to do the printing for both Houses of
the General Assembly, as per report made and approved
January 9th, 1878, has been faithfully carried out.

files of the Members with unusual regularity. The Bills

the contract have all been delivered, and in one instance,
1500 additional copies of a Document have been iurnished
without any demand for extra compensation. The Senate
Journal has been completed to Friday March 29th, and the
House Journal to same date. Of the amount of money al-
lowed for the printing, your Committee have reserved near-
ly one-fourth, to be paid by the Comptroller when the Jour-
nals of both Houses are completed, and the fifteen hundred
copies of the Acts, and Resolutions, as per contract and spec-
ifications, have been delivered to the Librarian.

We take pleasure in saying that the Printer has manifest-
ed a willingness and promptness to put any matter ordered
by either House, whether named in the contract, and that
not one dollar of extra money has been paid, or recommend-
ed to be paid, on account of printing, during the entire Ses-

Your Committee, having discharged their duties to the
