Mr. Cooper from a Select Committee reported unfavorably,

House bill entitled an Act to open and dedicate to public
use for a street through the cattle scales property in Balti-
more County, belonging to the State.

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Also, by Mr. Cooper, unfavorably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Baltimore County to regrade and
repave West Baltimore Street, on the Calverton Turnpike
Road, where it intersects said street to a point one hundred
feet west from the west side of Catharine street leading to
the Live Stock Scales.

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Gorman, from the Committee on Finance, reported fav-
orably,

House bill to authorize and direct the Board of Public
Works to purchase or procure by exchange, a lot of ground
adjoining the Western Hay Scales.
