Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the 19th Article of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County,"
sub-title "Princess Anne," as amended by Chapter 183, of
the Acts of 1867, by repealing Sections 108 and 109 of Chap-
ter 183, of the Acts of 1867, entitled an Act to incorporate
the town of Princess Anne, in Somerset County, Maryland,
and re-enacting the same with amendments, and to add a
new section thereto.

Endorsed: Reported unfavorably from Select Committee,
and the report adopted.

Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent the disclosure of con-
fidential communications made by patients to physicians and
surgeons.

Endorsed: Considered, amended and laid upon the table.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 53, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Land-
lord and Tenant," sub-title "Distress for Rent," for the bet-
ter protection of tenants.

Endorsed: Reported unfavorably from the Committee on
the Judiciary, and the report adopted.

At 2.20 o'clock P. M.,

On motion by Mr. Ford,
The Senate went into Executive session.

At 3 o'clock P. M., the Senate resumed the consideration
of legislative business, and

On molijn by Mr. Lee,
Took a recess until 8 P. M.

NIGHT SESSION.

SATURDAY, March 30th, 1878.
Senate met at 8 P. M.

Present at roll call the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Combs, of Allegany, Cooper, Ford,
Franklin, Freeman, Garey, Gorman, Hill, Humphreys,
Joyce, Lancaster, McLane, Miller, Newcomer, Steiner, Stump,
Welfley-18.

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of bills upon
their third reading.
