Which was received from the House in a message, read the
first time and referred to Committee on Finance,

Said bill having been inadvertently taken from the Clerk's
desk before it was entered on the Journal.

On motion by Mr. Cooppr,
The vote by which the unfavorable report on

House bill to enable the Lake Chrome and Mineral Com-
pany of Baltimore County to make or enforce payments of
all calls or assessments on its capital, was adopted,

Was reconsidered.

Mr. Gorman, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller of
the Treasury to settle the account of James Lusby, a late
Collector of Taxes in Anne Arundel County.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably.

House bill to sanction bequest of John Beggs, to the Trus-
tees of the Benjamin's or Krider's Reformed Church in Car-
roll County,

Which was read the second time.
Also, favorably,

House bill for the protection of dairymen,
Which was read the second time.

Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 46, sub-Section
1, oi the Acts of 1872, Chapter 346, entitled an Act to repeal
Sections 46, 47, 55 and 56, of Article 75, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, entitled "Pleading, Practice and Process;"
also, Chapter 420, of the Acts of 1870, entitled "an Act to
amend the 3rd Section «f the 75th Article of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to "Pleading, Practice and
Process," by substituting the following in lieu thereof, and
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. McLane, from 'the Committee on Finance, reported
