missioners of Frederick County to refund to Martha B. Miries,
taxes paid by ber, if satisfied that such taxes were paid upon
property not in existence.

House bill entitled an Act to fill the vacancies in the Board
of Commissioners appointed by the Act of 1840, Chapter

the General Assembly, relating to pensions; 1870, Chapter

a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Gorman, (the rules were suspended)
so as to grant

Leave to the Committee on Finance to introduce a bill to
be entitled an Act to repeal Chapter 439, of the Acts of Jan-
uary Session, 1874, relative to issuing licenses for the sale of
spirituous and fermented liquors in this State, so far as the
same relates to Montgomery County,
