Which was read the first time.

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the compensation of
the State's Attorney for St. Mary's County.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays,
as follows:

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 118, of Article
18, of the Code of Public Local Lawg, entitled "St. Mary's
County," sub-title "Sheriffs," as enacted by the Act of 1868,
Chapter 309, and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :
