Senate Joint Resolution in relation to the Annapolis and
Elk Ridge Railroad Company,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Mr. Bannon submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

March 25th, 1878
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We respectfully ask your Honarable Body to return to the
Senate for further consideration the bill entitled an Act to-
repeal Sections 18 and 19, of Article 15, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws title "Clerks of Courts," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act repeal Section 5, of Article 38,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fees of Officers,"
sub-title "Notaries Public," and to re-enact the same with
amendments, and to legalize the acts of Comptrollers Leon-
ard and Woolford, &c., &c.,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
