The President announced the order of the day to be

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Chapter 244, of the
Acts of 1872, entitled an Act to authorize the appointment of
Weighers of Grain by the Governor, by repealing the 6th
Section of said Act, and re-enacting the same in an amended
form.

Pending the further consideration of said bill,

Mr. Miller moved that said bill be made the order of the
day for Tuesday, the 26th inst., at 2 o'clock.

Pending the consideration of said motion,
Mr. Hepbron moved a call of the Senate.

The Sergeant-at-Arms was directed to notify absent Sena-
tors that their presence was required in the Senate Chamber.
