Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and re-
turned

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 87 and 90, of
Article 10, Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester
County," sub-title "County Commissioners," as enacted by
Chapter 449, Acts of 1870, and all other Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, and to enact the
following in lieu thereof.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed

amendments."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend Section 4, by striking out all in line 42, after the

"words "per annum," to the words "the same," in line 45.

Amend Section 9, by striking out in line seven, the word
"thirteen," and insert "ten" in lieu thereof.

Section 17. Amend by striking out the word "Collectors,"
and insert "Treasurer and Clerk."

Amend Section 20, in line 6, by striking out the word
"ten," and inserting "five."

In line 3, Section 4, strike out the word "inclusive," from

"until," in said line to "eighty" in succeeding line, and in-

sert as follows, "from the first Monday of May, eighteen

hundred and seventy-eight, to the first Monday of May,

eighteen hundred and eighty."

In Sec. 17, line 4, strike out the word "Collector," and

nsert the words "Treasurer and Clerk," and strike out the
words "said Treasurer," and insert the words "the County
"Commissioners."

nays, as follows:
