Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 874, of Article
404. the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore City,"
and to re-enact the same as follows,

Was read the second time, and ordered to he engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to fund its floating debt by the
issue of the stock of said corporation to an amount not ex-
ceeding $1,500,000,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to enable the managers of the State House of Correction to
prepare the said House for the reception of inmates and for
the erection of certain work shops therein,

Was read the second time, and ordered to he engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit the taking or catch-
ing of oysters with scoops, drags, rakes or dredges or such
like instruments in certain waters of Somerset County,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, of Chapter
176, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to grant donations
to Garrett County for the use of Academies and Schools, and
to amend and re-enact the same so as to read as follows,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the building of a
school house for colored children in the Fourth District, and
one in the First District of Anne Arundel County,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit the shooting of
wild fowl from sink boats and floating blinda within two
miles, west south by east of the shore of that part of Hoop-
er's Island, south of the lower ferry, known as "Lower
Hooper's Island Ferry,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third leading.
