On motion by Mr. Dennis,

The vote by which the unfavorable report on said bill w-as-
adopted,

Was reconsidered.

Said bill was then recommitted to the Committee on Judi-
cial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an A.ct to extend the jurisdiction of Jus-
tices of the Peace in Allegany and other counties, in petty
criminal cases, by adding new sections to Article 1, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Allegany County,'"
sub-title "Justices of the Peace," to be numbered 98 A, 98
B, 98 C, 98 D, 98 E, 98 F and 98 G.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators.
Combs, of Allegany, Peter and Steiner.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Carroll County to pay to the County Commis-
sioners the excess of fees that have or may accrue in his office
for county purposes, indexing land and chattel records, &c.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Lee, Gorman and Freeman,

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to enable the Lake Chrome and
Mineral Company of Baltimore County to make and enforce
payments of all calls or assessments upon its capital stock,

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to further supplement an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate companies to make several turn-
pike roads through Baltimore County and for other purposes.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

Also, returned

Senate bill entitled an Act to protect fox hounds in Kent
County whilst engaged in a fox-chase or returning therefrom.

Endorsed : "Reported unfavorably from a Select Commit-
tee, and report adopted."
