sion, 1876, Chapter 169, and to re-enact the same, also with
amendment,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Board of Man-
agers of the Maryland House of Correction to hire convict
labor to the Maryland Canal Company, and prescribe the
manner of payment for the same by said Canal Company,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
